Our Story

MPTA (Minority Professional Trucker’s Association), is a collaboration of professionals who desire to make a difference in the transportation industry.  MPTA is spearheaded by Teresa Watson, owner of TRJ Transportation and an advisor to many in trucking who desire to learn all facets in both trucking and transportation. 

Why Minority based?

The Minority population is underserved in the transportation industry.  While we may see many different faces within the industry, those faces are lacking representation, fairness in protocols, lack of opportunity to excel, and in need of training and development.  

MPTA is the component that will offer fairness, direction, development and knowledge.
